Amanda Moitoso, owner of A. Millicent Home, has been passionate about interior design since she first began rearranging and redecorating her and her friends’ rooms in middle school. She comes from a family of artists, designers, antiquities collectors and dealers, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Art History. Amanda saw the powerful effect staging can have on selling a home when her husband, a real estate agent in Fairfield, begged her to help spruce up and stage a house which had been on the market for years. After creating a polished yet relaxed space in which potential buyers could picture themselves living, her husband’s client was thrilled to accept an offer an hour after the first open house was held. In addition to staging, Amanda also teaches kindergarten, and as a mother of two young boys, is no stranger to handling a million things at once while staying enthusiastic, engaged, and organized.
