Poland & Sullivan Insurance provides our clients with Wealth Preservation strategies through various insurance programs and Wealth Accumulation strategies through a multitude of investment programs. Founded by locals John Poland & Jack Sullivan, Poland & Sullivan Insurance has been part of the City of Newark Community since 1970. In 2003 the agency was purchased by advisors Andre Hoeschel and John Yasik. Andre and John are lifelong Newark residents and graduates of the University of Delaware, where they both competed on the Cross Country & Track teams. Andre and John take pride in being active in various community and charitable programs, and were the “founding fathers” of the Hockessin Fourth of July Neighborhood Relays, a mainstay holiday attraction for over 20 years. Andre and John are members of the state, regional and national professional organizations, which affords them the opportunity to keep abreast of current trends, laws and best practices and share their talents and expertise in leadership roles with other independent insurance advisors. We are also committed to doing our part to manage our resources and help protect and preserve our community. We were one of the first Newark businesses to establish an energy saving solar panel program. We take advantage of every opportunity to be as paperless as possible, recycle continuously and are working hard to keep our environmental footprint to a minimum.
